We’re a California-based grassroots movement advancing human rights, civic participation, and accountable governance.
Democracy is not guaranteed — it is something that must be protected, preserved, and fought for every generation. Around the world, we see democratic values under attack from populist movements, authoritarian regimes, and systems that erode the voice of the people.
Iranian Americans understand this reality more deeply than most. Many have lived under both the promises of democracy distorted into dictatorship, and the freedoms of a true democracy. This lived experience gives our community a unique perspective: we know what is at stake when democracy is lost, and we know the power of defending it when it thrives.
That is why we are committed to standing up for democratic principles — not only here in the United States, where they must be safeguarded, but also for the people of Iran, who continue to fight for a free and democratic future. Our mission is rooted in the belief that democracy is worth protecting everywhere, for everyone.
